Open all year round, we are regarded as the most relaxed and friendliest of pubs in Abersoch. Located at the harbour end of the high street, our raised patio is unrivalled as the place to sit and chill, sipping an ice cold drink whilst enjoying a summer sundown.
We offer a traditional menu of home prepared pub favourites served during the day and an enhanced menu in Block's Bistro presenting highest quality Welsh produce and locally caught seafood in the evenings.
On the bar as the pub opens on Saturdays are our world famous scotch eggs. Arrive at lunchtime to enjoy them still hot, served with curried mayonnaise.
The Ice Cream Shack on the patio is open in the high season serving a selection of the famous locally made Cadwalader’s ice cream complimented by our own range of confectionery, hot and cold drinks, sweets to spoil the kids and chews and treats for your four legged friend too!
The Vaynol operates a “pay-as-you-go” WiFi hotspot for those of you who can’t break their Facebook habit, want to purchase their holiday reading through Amazon or simply want to answer those business emails whilst out of the office! You can also check out the “comings and goings” at the pub via our patio webcams which are maintained courtesy of abersoch.co.uk
The Vaynol is the only central village location to offer Sky Sports HD and ESPN on four screens and we're told we create the best viewing atmosphere....next to seeing matches live of course!
